Executive Producers

Executive Producers are pivotal in the production of screenplays. Historically, this role has made many art forms possible. We believe the screenplay affords focusing on the public good and potentially receiving dividends from ticket sales. Unlike the Awards and Nomination Committees, the Executive Committee members are financially invested in the event’s success.

Goals:

  • Sell 400 tickets at $35 each, totaling $14,000 (after giving away 100 tickets).
  • Each of the 5 Executive Producers aims to receive $3,500.

Participation

Participation is open to anyone. Here’s what you can expect as an Executive Producer:

Benefits

  • VIP Experience: Receive 4 tickets in your name, available at VIP guest check-in inside the theater lobby. You and your party will be greeted by the Executive Producer liaison and presented with a lei and photo in front of the photo wall.
  • Flexibility: Attend every rehearsal and meeting or have limited involvement. Hands-on involvement is welcome but would be on a volunteer basis.
  • Recognition: Optional printing of your name in the Hawaii Cannabis Awards Show Guide, given to all ticket holders.
  • Memorabilia: 1 event t-shirt, 4 swag bags, 4 posters.
  • Special Honors: Special recognition as an event producer during the event.
  • Future Participation: First right of refusal to participate in next year’s event.

Note: Executive Producers are not eligible to win any awards but can nominate as many prospective awardees as desired. Your role in identifying and choosing award nominees is crucial due to your fresh perspective or extensive experience in Hawaii Cannabis.

Commitment

A $3,500 investment is required to participate as an Executive Producer. The aim is to make your participation impactful and feasible with minimal time commitment and ongoing communications as needed. Executive Producers are required to sign an investment agreement.

Revenue Calculation

  • Total Ticket Sales Revenue: 400 tickets * $35 = $14,000
  • Note: 100 tickets will be given to producers, award and nomination committee members, Mayor, Police Chief, dignitaries, promotions, and charities.
  • Total Investment per Investor: $3,500
  • Total Investment by 5 Investors: $3,500 * 5 = $17,500
  • Desired Profit per Investor: 20% of $3,500 = $700
  • Total Desired Profit for All Investors: $700 * 5 = $3,500
  • Required Budget: Total Ticket Sales Revenue + Total Investment by Investors – Total Desired Profit = $14,000 + $17,500 – $3,500 = $28,000
